Notes - new bridge project bid in 2007, project to start 2008 or 2009. Will be built on new alignment just east of the current bridge. It will have 2 12-foot lanes, 3 foot shoulders, and one 5-foot sidewalk. The sidewalk will be separated from the roadway by a barrier. Village incorporated in 1865, first bridge built in 1866. It collapsed and was replaced in 1877 by an iron bridge. Current bridge to be removed in 2010.
