This is the A-9A on display at the Castle Air Museum, Atwater, California. The museum is located on the grounds of the former Castle Air Force base in the central valley of California. This A-9A was moved from Castle to Edwards AFB in the late 1990's. It will be restored, and moved to the future Air Force Flight Test Center Museum. At this time, Edwards is off limits due to 9/11 security enhancements.
