Museum Of Flight
Seattle, WA

B-47

WB-47E Stratojet bomber on display at the Museum Of Flight in Seattle, Washington. The plane is sitting in the parking lot pending a new display building to the Stratojet and other large aircraft. This Stratojet flew weather research missions, and flew the last such flight by a WB-47E. Since this photo was taken, the B-47 has been moved to a new location on the front lawn in front of the museum. She still sits outside, but in a place of honor welcoming visitors to the museum.
