B-24J Bungay Buckaroo
Pima Air & Space Museum
Tucson, AZ

B-24

B-24J Bungay Buckaroo on display at the Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona. The J model was built in the largest numbers of any Liberator variant. Many B-24J were sent to the RAF, who used them both as bombers and as patrol aircraft. A number were sent to India after the war. This aircraft was donated to the Pima museum by the Indian government. To honor its Indian service, the left side of the aircraft carries Indian air force markings.
