State highway MN-41 bridge crossing the Minnesota River on the south side of Chaska, Minnesota. As of August, 2006, this bridge no longer exists. 2-lanes of a new 4-lane bridge was built adjacent to and east of this structure. This bridge was then removed to allow the remaining 2 lanes of the new bridge to be built. This bridge was still serviceable, but highway traffic has grown beyond what this bridge could handle.

There is a river overflow channel that flows about a mile south of this main channel crossing. A bridge across that channel was replaced in 1998, and was upgraded to be 4 lanes wide in anticipation of the new main channel crossing. Statistics for that bridge are:

• Structure ID: NBI: 70041.
• Location: River Mile 32.1.
• River Elevation: 709 Feet.
• Highway: MN-41.
• Daily Traffic Count: 18,500 (2002).
• Bridge Type: Concrete Girder.
• Length: 250 Feet.
• Width: 70 Feet, 4 Traffic Lanes.
• Navigation Channel Width: Non-Navigable.
• Height Above Water:
• Date Built: Opened 1998.
